It’s as busy as hell after an earthquake in a nunnery here but i wanted to bottle some of our enthusiasm and get it out today. Vintage stuff you see. Drink deep, drink slow.

I don’t often (in fact, I’ve probably never) given an idea of just what counts as our average day around here. All I’ve done is moan and shout and occasionally reveal a cool project we’ve completed. Only those invited into the inner sanctum get to see WIP and even those people are usually blinded as they leave. And tongues cut out.

Today, however, I thought I’d just give a glimpse. My nephews have just had a look around and what sort of uncle would I be if I were to insist on the blinding and de-tonguing ritual for them? And what goes for one must go for all.

So in the office today we are assortedly writing website copy, designing three major websites – for three different game genres, building another website for a whole new type of company (and getting their coporate ID and stationery done), creating two TV ads, polishing off some print advertising (which will segue neatly into next week when we start the online ads), tidying up some packaging ready for print (which I’ll show next week) and running a few projects through our Art department ready for submissions to Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo.

Looking ahead we’ve ads awaiting signoff before principal photography / 3D design begins, more web copy and articles to write, POS to design and well – I’ll just stop there.

And somewhere between all this we had chicken for lunch.

So, Saturday has been cancelled, Sunday postponed. This is our most exciting and busiest time. Welcome to Head First. We aim to excite – and by gum, we’re doing so today.
